This page outlines our refund policy for purchases from Treatwell Pet Care and the Mobile Veterinary Services of Ottawa. For more detail please contact our office directly at (613) 230-2106 for more information.
Pre-paid appointments can be cancelled at any time up to 24 hours in advance of the booking, and will be fully refunded. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded.
Prescription products cannot be refunded under any circumstances once they have left our possession. If you do return any unwanted medications we will be able to dispose of them safely, and in some circumstances we may be able to donate them to pets in need in other countries.
All memberships come with a term of 12-months, and by signing up for a membership plan you commit to paying the full membership fee for the duration of that term.
If, however, you are not satisfied with your initial consultation with our veterinary team, please email hello@treatwellpetcare or call us at (613) 230-2106 within 30 days. If we are unable to address your concerns we will refund your initial membership payment and cancel any future commitment, with the following exceptions:
- Vaccinations that were administered to your pet at the time of the initial consultation. These cannot be refunded, and will be charged at prices set by the Treatwell Pet Care, Inc.
- Any additional goods or services with a material cost that was dispensed or used at the time of the consultation. This includes the purchase of food or medication, as well as laboratory testing.
After the 30 day refund period has passed, all memberships are active for a term of 12 months.
Any customer may terminate their contract or membership with us prior to the end of such 12-month term, in which case such customer is responsible to cover the full amount of the membership contract. The customer shall be accorded the option of paying such breakage fee in full upon termination or continued monthly payments until the full amount has been paid.
