What We Offer
We perform a variety of soft-tissue surgeries at our partner clinic right here in Ottawa. We do the full pre-surgery work-up in advance at your home, and then our staff will meet you and your pet at the pre-determined partner clinic on the day of the procedure. Can get to the clinic? The most common procedures we perform include spays, neuters, mass removals, and cystotomies and more. For dentistries and more complicated surgeries we will instead help co-ordinate a referral to the local clinic best suited for the situation.
The Surgery Process
Preparation begins at home with a pre-surgery check up from our team and pre-anesthetic blood tests to ensure that your pet is in good health and ready for surgery. We’ll also prescribe anti-nausea medication and mild sedatives for you to administer the morning of surgery to make sure everything goes smoothly.
On the big day, we’ll greet you and your pet at our partner clinic. We’ll examine your pet again, and you’ll have a chance to discuss any concerns you have before they’re admitted to for the day. Once their procedure is complete, you’ll be contacted and your pet will be monitored to make sure they recover well and are ready to go home later that day.
You’ll be sent home with post-operative pain medications and other necessary items, and we’ll be in touch several times in the next few days to make sure your best is back to their old self in no time!
